Like Jen, I like to read
Ali's blog regularly. Each year, she chooses one word to focus on for the year. A word that sort of sums up how you'd like yourself to live each day in the year to come. I've given it some thought, and my word is going to be "Gratitude." I really want to be more grateful for what I have--a warm, loving family, two beautiful girls, an amazing husband, a roof over my head...you get the idea. I think I spend far too much time worrying about what I'd
like to have rather than what I already
do have. And that's the word.

Great word! I have found focusing on & scrapbooking the everyday stuff like Ali Edwards makes me appreciate all that I have. Did you consider the 52 blessings project (Resolution No.6)? I was considering it, but my word for the year is ACHIEVE, because I always have a long list of things I want to get done for myself, but I always get side tracked for one reason or another. I haven't figured out whether its adding too much to my To Do list.
Wow, Sally, I was just thinking about my word when I read your blog! Good choice! I love it! Ali is so inspiring!
Thanks for sharing!
OK Sally! You got me thinking that I need a word for 2008. I gave it 24 hours and know for certain that my word
is "POSITIVE." (As in positive attitude, postive thinking...also known as a nice person to be around!) I'm determined to be a sweet old lady when I grow up so I better get started now! What we are right now intensifies with age!
