Nooooo! Alternate Title: NOOOOOOOOOOO!

A day that I've feared has come.  Rewind to about an hour ago.  Camera in hand, I flounced into the playroom to take a "before" photo for the weekly challenge on A Bowl Full of Lemons.  I adjusted my settings, opened the window for some natural light, aimed to shoot and....NOTHING.  Well, my lens is trying to focus, but the shutter said the equivalent of, "Yeah, no thanks."  I thought maybe I had something set incorrectly, so I switched back to auto.  Nothing.   My camera is going on 4 years old. No warranty. No insurance.  I'm not sure that having it repaired would be worth it at this point.  I have a couple more things I want to try, but I'm afraid my plans for saving up for a new camera may have to be sped up a bit.  NERDS!

I do not miss our gas stove for that reason!!! One of the ways I was able to be helpful to my wife. Finally bought her a glass top best investment I ever made!!! LOL (and I am not advertising for them! :)

Anyways, my wifes name is Annette (pastors wife)and she just opened her blog to public setting as she wants to be an encouragement and blessing to people (she is also hoping to do giveaways). I was trying to be an encouragement to her by asking if you would be willing to swing by and say hi as she does not know many people in the blog world? Thank you for considering. Her blog is

Try changing the internal (cell) battery. My Canon 20D did this, and changing that internal battery saved it's life!

I will try that, Andrea! It seems to be behaving for the moment, but I hadn't considered that. Thanks!
